Set in the present among the rolling hills of the Driftless Area of southwest Wisconsin, this adaptation of a 1916 Robert Frost poem tells the story of a writer who, after a profound personal loss, is unable to move on with his life – until a visit from a stranger looking to buy a bulk lot of Christmas trees causes the man to rediscover both his land and his way forward.
